Why this one
Add vitamin C filtration to the showerhead you already own.
Keep your current showerhead.
SUHAE Universal installs behind a compatible showerhead, preserving its existing look and spray pattern.
Filtration before the showerhead.
Water passes through the Universal cartridge before entering your existing showerhead.
Vitamin C reduces chlorine in the shower water.
Ascorbic acid reacts with chlorine compounds as water passes through the cartridge.
Residual chlorine was not detected from 1,000 to 6,000 litres under the published test conditions. The sample was an Aromica Vita C filter, not the assembled SUHAE Universal product.
How it was tested, and what the result covers
Korean Official Test Method for Drinking Water, at 1.5 kgf per square centimetre and 18 to 19 degrees. Sample: the Aromica Vita C filter. Chlorine read as not detected at every interval from 1,000 litres through to 6,000.
That is a result on the media, not on this product.
Not detected is a detection-limit statement rather than a claim of zero. The result sits outside the institute's own accredited scope, so we do not describe it as accredited or certified. It is a drinking-water method, so it does not speak to shower temperature or to chloramine.
Will it fit your shower?

What to know before choosing SUHAE Universal
Should I choose Universal or a complete showerhead?
Love the shower head you already have? Choose Universal. It fits neatly behind your existing shower head, bringing SUHAE filtration to the setup you already enjoy.
Ready for a complete shower upgrade? Choose Radiance or Nourish. Both replace your existing shower head, combining SUHAE filtration with a shower experience designed from the ground up.
Universal is designed to work with the shower head you already have, keeping its existing look, spray and feel. Radiance and Nourish replace the shower head entirely, giving you the complete SUHAE shower experience.
Prefer fragrance in your shower? Radiance and Nourish are designed to pair with SUHAE’s Vita scent range, while Universal is focused on filtration without fragrance.
Can I install Universal in a rental?
A compatible Universal installation requires no drilling or permanent pipework and can be removed when you move.
What is involved
Remove the existing showerhead, fit SUHAE Universal to the compatible shower arm by hand, then reattach the showerhead. See the renter installation guide.
What changes after installing SUHAE Universal?
Your existing showerhead and spray pattern stay in place while water passes through the Universal cartridge first.
Existing showerhead
Keep the look, position and spray pattern of the compatible showerhead you already use.
Universal cartridges
Choose the compatible cartridge option shown on the Universal product page and replace it according to its stated service interval.
Questions
Frequently asked questions about SUHAE Universal
Does it change my shower spray?
Universal installs behind a compatible showerhead, so the existing spray plate remains unchanged. Actual flow and pressure still depend on your household supply and showerhead.
What is the difference between Universal and the Suhae shower heads?
Radiance and Nourish are filtered handshowers, Aura is a filtered rainshower panel, and Universal adds filtration behind a compatible showerhead you already own.
What does the antibacterial test on the media mean?
The ceramic media test recorded a 99.9% reduction in E. coli and S. aureus after 24 hours of static contact. The result applies to the media itself, not outgoing shower water.
Can I ask something before I buy?
Message our Australian team on WhatsApp at +65 8988 1336. We aim to respond within 24 hours. Still comparing filters? Read how to choose a shower filter.
